Our Story
The National Mini Rex Rabbit Club Inc (NMRRC) was founded by Monna Berryhill in Texas, who began her journey with the Mini Rex breed after winning a pair of Dwarf Rex rabbits at the 1984 ARBA Convention. This pivotal moment led to the creation of the Mini Rex breed, with the first successful litter produced by Zoro and Cotton. The legacy of these rabbits continues today, as breeders trace their pedigrees back to the original trio: Happy, Bashful, and Dopey. Over the years, the NMRRC has played a crucial role in establishing the Mini Rex breed, fostering a dedicated community of breeders and enthusiasts who share a passion for these remarkable rabbits.
