About the National Japanese American Historical Society
Founded in 1980 in San Francisco, the National Japanese American Historical Society (NJAHS) was originally known as 'Go For Broke, Inc.' Its mission is to promote the history and accomplishments of Japanese American veterans, particularly those of the 100th/442nd Regimental Combat Team and the Military Intelligence Service during World War II. NJAHS is dedicated to the collection, preservation, and sharing of historical information about the Japanese American experience.
