Our Story
Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) have been pivotal in shaping the formal business education of African American students since the Atlanta Exposition in 1895. The HBCU Business Deans Roundtable serves as a vital forum for deans of HBCU business schools to tackle opportunities and challenges in enhancing business programs and initiatives.
Impact
Despite representing only three percent of total college enrollment, HBCUs award over thirty percent of all baccalaureate degrees and sixty percent of engineering degrees earned by African Americans. This significant impact underscores the importance of supporting HBCUs.
