Our Story

Founded in 1898, the National Florence Crittenton Mission, now known as Justice + Joy, was established to unite Crittenton agencies under a Congressional Charter. This historic organization focuses on advocacy, organizing, and research for girls, young women, and gender-expansive youth of color, aiming to elevate their needs and potential, especially those impacted by violence and childhood adversity.
