Our Story

The National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA) is a vibrant organization dedicated to fostering a community for ceramic art, teaching, and learning. Established in 1966, NCECA cultivates the next generation of ceramic artists and enthusiasts through diverse programming that impacts professional artists, schools, community centers, and galleries. With approximately 6,000 members from the U.S. and over 20 countries, NCECA reaches thousands more through its events, publications, and resources.
