Our Story

The National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) is a grassroots organization founded in 1893, dedicated to turning progressive ideals into action. With a strong presence in Minnesota since 1894, NCJW focuses on social justice, improving the quality of life for women, children, and families, and safeguarding individual rights and freedoms.

Our Impact

NCJW Minnesota has significantly impacted the community by providing stability for families experiencing homelessness, promoting literacy through the Books to Borrow program, and addressing food insecurity among students identified as homeless or highly mobile.
