Our Story
In May 2005, Dan Waeger, a young assistant golf coach, faced a life-altering cancer diagnosis. Understanding the unique challenges young adult cancer survivors encounter in higher education, he founded the National Collegiate Cancer Foundation (NCCF). The inaugural Waeger C.U.P. golf tournament raised essential funds for scholarships, and even after Dan's passing in 2009, his vision lives on through NCCF's unwavering commitment to support young adults affected by cancer.
Our Impact
NCCF provides need-based financial support to young adult cancer survivors, empowering them to pursue higher education during and after treatment. The organization has awarded numerous scholarships, significantly transforming the lives of young adults facing cancer.
