Our Story

The National College Readiness Institute (NCRI) was founded in 2016 by Michelle Frias, who recognized the urgent need for students to acquire the skills necessary for success in college. NCRI is dedicated to closing the achievement gap by providing enriching, project-based experiences for youth, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds.

NCRI's programs have demonstrated that students who participate are significantly more likely to excel in their academic and career pursuits, effectively bridging the achievement gap for underprivileged youth in the Greater Houston area.
