Our Story

Founded in 1925, the National Charity League Los Angeles Chapter (NCLLA) has a rich history of fostering the bond between mothers and daughters through social, cultural, and philanthropic activities. Reactivated in 1946 and incorporated in 1947, NCLLA stands apart while aligning with the broader goals of National Charity League Incorporated. The organization emphasizes the importance of philanthropy, creating meaningful opportunities for families to engage in charitable work together.

Our Impact

NCLLA encourages families to connect with organizations that resonate with them, supporting numerous charities through our properties in Los Angeles. Our location at 5000 Hollywood Boulevard has long served as a hub for government-assisted preschool programs and other charitable initiatives. The Timeless Treasures Ticktocker Thrift Shop in Culver City generates funds for our Ticktocker Grant Program, where young members propose grants to charities of their choice, fostering a spirit of giving and community involvement.
