Our Story

The National Campers & Hikers Association, founded in 1949 by Hank Nathan, has transformed from a local camping club into a national organization. With members across the United States and Canada, NCHA promotes family-oriented outdoor activities and conservation efforts. Annual events like Campvention and the Retiree Rally foster community and support for outdoor enjoyment.

Our Impact

FCRV members actively engage in their communities through initiatives such as aluminum tab collections for Ronald McDonald House, food drives for local pantries, and donations of lap robes to nursing homes and cancer centers. This commitment to humanitarian efforts showcases the organization's dedication to community support.
