Our Story

The National Black Prosecutors Foundation was established in 1983 to enhance the representation of Black prosecutors at all levels of government. Founded in response to the lack of networking opportunities, the organization has expanded its reach to include prosecutors, law students, and law enforcement personnel across the United States, the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and Canada.

Impact

With a network of over 175 Black prosecutors, the NBPA has implemented training programs and youth initiatives that empower future generations and address inequalities in the legal profession.
