Empowering Education for All

The National Association for Equal Opportunity in Higher Education (NAFEO) was established in 1969 by the leaders of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and other institutions dedicated to equal educational opportunities. NAFEO serves as the sole national membership association for HBCUs and Predominantly Black Institutions (PBIs), advocating for their interests across legislative, executive, and judicial platforms.

Impacting Communities

NAFEO significantly contributes to the economy, generating a short-term impact of $15 billion. By graduating a high percentage of African American professionals in critical fields such as education, STEM, health, and agriculture, NAFEO plays a vital role in workforce development and community empowerment.

Your donations to NAFEO are crucial for amplifying the voices of HBCUs and PBIs in policy discussions, ensuring they receive equitable funding and resources.
