What began as a small group of families gathered around a kitchen table in 1979 has transformed into the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation’s leading voice on mental health. Since 1984, NAMI Buffalo & Erie County has united hundreds of members and donors to raise awareness and provide essential support and education for families in need.
