Our Story

Founded in 2003 by Clemmie Greenlee after the tragic loss of her son Rodriguez to gang violence, Nashville Peacemakers has evolved from its initial focus on HIV prevention and homelessness to a dedicated mission of curtailing youth violence, particularly among young black men. Clemmie’s impactful work has garnered numerous accolades, including the Nashvillian of the Year and a Soros Justice Fellowship.
