Our Story

Narika was founded in 1992 by a group of immigrant women who recognized the urgent need for domestic violence services in the Bay Area. By fostering a familial model of support, Narika engages victims as sisters rather than clients, providing assistance in multiple languages and creating a safe space for healing.
