Founded in the late 1970s by families seeking support for their loved ones with mental illness, NAMI Southwest Washington has evolved into a vital resource for advocacy, education, and public awareness. The organization merged in 2013 to broaden its reach across multiple counties, ensuring that mental health support is accessible to all.

Impact

In 2022, NAMI Southwest Washington facilitated 300 support and social groups, conducted 30 signature classes, and delivered 22 community presentations, positively impacting over 2,500 individuals.
