Our Story

NAMI Southeast Wisconsin was formed on January 1, 2021, through the merger of NAMI Waukesha and NAMI Greater Milwaukee. With roots dating back to 1979 and 1982, these organizations have dedicated themselves to enhancing the understanding of mental health conditions and sharing the hope of recovery.

Impact

Offering over 20 programs, NAMI Southeast Wisconsin provides essential support and education to individuals and families affected by mental health conditions. In 2021, thousands were reached across Milwaukee, Waukesha, and Jefferson Counties.
