Our Story

NAMI Northwoods was founded in Wisconsin by a dedicated group of families seeking support for their loved ones with mental illness. Since its first annual membership meeting in May 2017, it has grown into a significant organization advocating for mental health awareness and support in the community. As part of a larger national organization, NAMI Northwoods continues to be a leading voice for mental health advocacy across the United States.
