The My Stuff Bags Foundation, established in 1998 in Westlake Village, California, was born from a heartfelt response to the urgent needs of children entering crisis situations. Many of these children arrive at domestic violence shelters, homeless shelters, or foster care with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Recognizing this dire need, the Foundation fills the gap by providing My Stuff Bags, which are not just filled with essential items like toothbrushes and clothing, but also comforting toys and activities that help these children feel a sense of ownership and security during their most vulnerable times.

Success for the My Stuff Bags Foundation is measured not only by the number of Bags distributed but by the profound impact these Bags have on the lives of children in crisis. To date, over 700,000 My Stuff Bags have been delivered nationwide, reaching approximately 20,000 children each year.
