Our Story
My Sister’s Place has been dedicated to sheltering and empowering survivors of domestic violence in Washington, DC for 45 years. The organization provides leadership and education to build a supportive community for those affected by domestic violence.
Impact
In FY 2020, My Sister's Place provided safe emergency shelter to 142 survivors, helped 97 transition to permanent housing, created 108 safety plans, and conducted 12 domestic violence trainings for 190 community participants.
