Founded in 1980, My Sister's House emerged from the Women’s Advocacy Center to fill a critical gap in services for women escaping domestic violence. Over the years, it has grown into a beacon of hope, providing essential shelter and support for women and children in the Lowcountry.

Impact

In 2023, My Sister's House made a profound impact, assisting 1,707 crisis line callers and sheltering 244 clients and their children. The organization also supported 234 survivors through court advocacy, showcasing its commitment to empowering those affected by domestic violence.
