Our Story

My Neighbor’s Keeper Alliance, USA is dedicated to raising awareness about alcohol and drug abuse in adolescent minority communities. Located in the Washington Metropolitan Area, the organization empowers youth with essential knowledge and resources to foster a drug-free environment.

Impact

Over the past decade, there has been a decline in youth substance misuse. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has reversed this progress, exacerbating the substance misuse crisis and increasing mental health issues among children of color. MyNKA USA focuses on educating parents, caregivers, and educators about their critical roles in preventing substance abuse, emphasizing that strong adult relationships can deter risky behaviors in adolescents.
