Our Story

My Cup of Tea is a nonprofit social enterprise located in the historic Orange Mound community, the oldest African American neighborhood in America. This initiative imports the finest quality tea from the Far East, which is then weighed, re-formatted, and packaged by women who are transforming their lives and their community. Through training and purposeful work, these women gain stability and dignity, while also receiving resources for personal and professional growth.
