The Muslim Enrichment Project, based in Metro Detroit, is dedicated to supporting new Muslims as they transition into their faith. Founded in December 2010, MEP collaborates with local Mosques, Islamic centers, and community groups to create a welcoming environment for converts. Through hands-on assistance, MEP provides educational resources, social connections, and mentorship to help new Muslims thrive in their spiritual journey.

Making a Lasting Impact

Since its inception, MEP has organized numerous events, including classes, community dinners, BBQs, and Ramadan/Eid celebrations, fostering a sense of belonging among new Muslims. The organization also offers one-on-one mentoring and Islamic scholarships, ensuring that every convert has access to the support they need.
