Our Story

Since the events of September 11, the Muslim community has faced significant challenges in shaping its narrative. The Muslim Community Network aims to redefine what it means to be Muslim through education, interfaith partnerships, and civic engagement. Founded in 2003, this New York City-based nonprofit is dedicated to fostering understanding and collaboration among diverse communities, while also addressing global issues aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.

Our Impact

With over 2,400 meals served through our monthly soup kitchen and 1,400 Iftar meals distributed during Ramadan, the Muslim Community Network is committed to serving those in need. Additionally, 522 community members have participated in our civic education workshops, empowering them to become active leaders in their communities.
