About the Muslim Association of Puget Sound
The Muslim Association of Puget Sound (MAPS) was established in 2006 to bring Muslim community values to life in the Pacific Northwest. With a diverse community of over 5,000 families from more than 50 countries, MAPS has grown to become the largest Islamic center in Washington State. It serves as a mosque, providing year-round religious services and educational programming for Muslims and those interested in learning about Islam.
Impact of MAPS
MAPS plays a crucial role in the community by offering essential social services, including free medical and legal clinics, emergency food and rental assistance, and transitional shelter for women. In 2019 alone, MAPS invested over $750,000 in community services, welcoming over 60,000 guests each year.
