Our Story

Founded by violist and composer Nathan Schram, Musicambia was inspired by the Venezuelan music education program El Sistema. Initially a branch of Carnegie Hall’s Musical Connections Program at Sing Sing Correctional Facility, it became an independent nonprofit in 2014.
