Our Story

Founded by Anna Orias in 1992, Musically Minded Inc began as a piano teaching initiative. Recognizing the importance of peer success, Anna developed a unique program that combines personalized instruction with collaborative group classes. Over the years, the organization has grown, becoming a nonprofit in 2007 and relocating to a larger facility in 2010. Despite facing challenges, including eviction in 2017, Musically Minded has adapted by offering lessons in private studios and community spaces, continuing to enroll new students and receiving vital city support.
