Founded in 1997 by George Harter, Music Theater Heritage (MTH) began as a platform for his award-winning radio show, “A Night on the Town.” Since then, MTH has evolved into a vibrant performing arts center located in the heart of Kansas City, producing live shows that celebrate the rich history of American musical theater. With nearly 50,000 visitors each year, MTH operates three theatrical stages and offers a variety of performances, including musicals, cabarets, and original revues.
