About Music Works Northwest
Founded in 1966, Music Works Northwest is a nonprofit community music school located in Bellevue, Washington. Originally established as the Imperials Drum and Bugle Corp in Seattle’s Central District, the organization has evolved to provide a wide range of music education and experiences. Each year, Music Works serves thousands of residents in King County through individual music lessons, classes, music therapy, and free concerts.
With a faculty comprised of professional musicians holding advanced degrees from prestigious institutions, Music Works ensures high-quality instruction. Students excel in their school music programs, often participating in award-winning ensembles such as the Bellevue Youth Symphony and the Seattle Youth Symphony.
