Our Story

The Music City Bowl was established in 1998 through discussions initiated by the Nashville Sports Council with the Southeastern Conference to host a postseason college football game in Nashville. Over the years, it has evolved into a significant event, moving to Nissan Stadium and forming partnerships with conferences like the Big Ten and ACC.

Impact

With over $400 million in economic impact for Nashville, the Music City Bowl has transformed a slow tourism week into one of the busiest. It has contributed $34 million in financial payouts to participating universities and supported various charitable organizations, reaching over 20,000 participants in its Youth Football Program.
