Our Story
The Music Academy of the West, established in the 1940s by renowned musicians and philanthropists, provides premier training for musicians in Santa Barbara, California. Over the years, it has evolved to include a Summer School and Festival, offering world-class training and performance opportunities for young artists.
Impact
With over 7,000 alumni, the Music Academy significantly contributes to the Southern California arts community. The Summer Festival attracts 40,000 audience members annually, showcasing nearly 130 public events and providing full scholarships to all students.
