Our Story

The Museum for Cultural Artifacts (MFCA) is an innovative nonprofit cultural museum located in metro Detroit, founded by artist and curator Alyssa Taylor Wendt. This museum is dedicated to recognizing the historical narratives of unique and unusual objects, celebrating the beauty and significance of peripheral culture. MFCA is currently restoring a building to house its diverse collection, traveling exhibitions, and community programming, with a projected opening in May 2024.
