Our Story

The Mukwonago Food Pantry was founded by Dorothy Stanke, Debra Hoppe, and Cynthia Eggleston in response to a pressing need in the community. Opening its doors on August 1, 1989, in a humble basement, the pantry has grown significantly, now operating from a dedicated facility at 325 Eagle Lake Avenue since 2002. With unwavering community support, it has transformed from a temporary assistance provider into a model food pantry.
