Founded in 1963 by the Muhlenberg Lions Club, the Muhlenberg Area Ambulance Association has evolved from a volunteer service to a full-time Advanced Life Support provider. Under the leadership of Howard “Mike” Beaver, MAAA now operates two ambulances, responding to approximately 5,000 calls each year. This growth reflects the increasing emergency medical needs of the community, ensuring that residents receive timely and effective care.
