In 2005, a dedicated missionary embarked on a journey to share the Gospel with the Vietnamese community in Malaysia, supported by the Plano Baptist Church and local pastors in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This mission led to the establishment of vibrant worship and Bible study groups, fostering spiritual growth and community among thousands. Over the years, many young workers have embraced a higher calling, dedicating their lives to full-time service in God’s name.

In response to a lack of support for sponsorship, local leaders encouraged the formation of a nonprofit organization, resulting in the creation of Muc Vu Vietnam (Mission for Vietnam). In May 2022, with the endorsement of renowned pastor Gene Getz, the organization began translating his 1500 Life Essentials Study Bible video principles and commentaries. This collaboration, supported by the Bible Society Vietnam, has birthed a unique resource often referred to as a “seminary-in-a-box,” designed to empower local pastors and leaders with limited resources.

Significant progress has been made, with all principles successfully translated and the voiceover for videos underway. The publishing and distribution processes are also progressing as planned, thanks to the generous support of donors. Their contributions, prayers, and partnership have been vital in driving these efforts forward, with the goal of completing the translation project by the end of 2024.
