Our Story

Mountain Pet Rescue Asheville is a dedicated foster-based animal rescue established in 2017. With the unwavering support of fosters, volunteers, and donors, this organization has saved thousands of lives, providing a safe haven for animals until they find their forever homes.

Impact

In 2024 alone, Mountain Pet Rescue achieved 529 cat adoptions and 297 dog adoptions, raising $176,219 from community support towards their goal of $250,000.
