Founded in 1926, Mountain Mission, Inc. was established by a group of visionaries dedicated to meeting the spiritual and physical needs of the less fortunate in the Kanawha Valley. The organization provides emergency assistance, including financial support for utility services, rent, medications, and disaster recovery. Beyond financial aid, Mountain Mission addresses basic needs such as clothing, furniture, food, and medical equipment.
