Our Story
Mountain Housing Opportunities (MHO) has been a beacon of hope for over 35 years, dedicated to building and improving homes, neighborhoods, and lives in Western North Carolina. MHO believes that everyone deserves a safe and attractive home.
Impact
Since 1988, MHO has financed and developed over 1,400 affordable apartments, assisted more than 500 families in achieving homeownership, and provided essential safety-related repairs to over 5,000 homeowners.
