Our Story
Founded in 1998 by Laura Snyder, Mountain Home Montana began with a generous donation of a family home by Bonnie Hamilton. This pivotal moment allowed the organization to open its doors to young mothers and children experiencing homelessness. Over the years, Mountain Home has expanded its services, including the establishment of a Mental Health Center and various residential programs, to support young mothers in achieving economic independence and stability for their families.

In its 24 years of operation, Mountain Home Montana has served over 2000 women and children, providing shelter and a supportive community that enables young mothers to thrive and create nurturing homes for their children.
