Our Story

The Mountain Brook City Schools Foundation was established in 1992 in response to concerns about insufficient state funding for public education. Community leaders came together to create an Endowment Fund aimed at safeguarding the school system and ensuring vital resources for technology, professional development, and library enhancements. Over the past thirty years, the Foundation has awarded more than $10 million in grants to Mountain Brook Schools, significantly enriching the educational experience for students.
