Pea Pod was born from a desire to create a vibrant community experience. In 2010, a parent joined the Eastside Family Cooperative, a parent-run childcare program for children aged 18 months to 3.5 years. This initiative provided a much-needed change from the homebound routine, allowing both parent and child to socialize and grow together. The cooperative model not only offered a nurturing environment but also fostered a sense of shared responsibility among families.
