The Mount Prospect Historical Society is dedicated to preserving the rich history of Mount Prospect, Illinois. Through the collection of artifacts, photographs, and oral histories from residents and businesspeople, the Society ensures that the stories of the past are not forgotten. The Society operates the 1906 Dietrich Friedrichs House Museum, the ADA-accessible Dolores Haugh Education Center, and the renovated 1896 Central School, which opened to the public in 2017.
