About Mount Diablo Beekeepers Association

Founded in 1982, the Mount Diablo Beekeepers Association (MDBA) began as a small group of East Bay beekeepers who sought to purchase supplies in bulk. Over the years, this community has grown to include hobbyist and small commercial beekeepers from Contra Costa County and beyond. MDBA fosters a spirit of camaraderie and knowledge-sharing among its members, ranging from seasoned beekeepers with over 40 years of experience to newcomers just starting their journey.
