Our Story
Mount Baker Housing Association was established to tackle the urgent need for affordable housing in Southeast Seattle. The journey began with the redevelopment of the Mt. Baker Village Apartments, which were in dire conditions. In 1988, the City of Seattle sold the property to the association, marking the start of a mission to provide safe and affordable housing. Since then, the organization has developed seven properties, serving over 750 residents and planning significant expansions in the coming years.
