In 2022, a mother faced the life-changing news of her son’s autism diagnosis. Overwhelmed with emotions of guilt, confusion, and fear for the future, she sought support and guidance. Through a connection with a mentor who had traversed a similar path, she discovered the power of community and shared experiences. This journey inspired the creation of Mothers and Autism Meetup, a safe haven for mothers navigating the complexities of autism.
To date, 67 children have been supported, 30+ individuals have donated, and 10 meetups have been organized, fostering a nurturing environment for families.
