Our Story

Mosaic Health was founded in response to the civil unrest in Rochester, New York, in July 1964, highlighting the urgent need for social and economic reforms. Originally known as the Neighborhood Health Centers of Monroe County, the organization has evolved over the years, ultimately becoming Mosaic Health in 2019. The mission is to provide access to compassionate, individualized health care and wellness education for all, regardless of financial, cultural, or social barriers.
