Morrison Mentors, named in honor of dedicated teacher Arthur Morrison, was founded in 2012 by Doron Spleen. Starting as a small Saturday enrichment program, it has grown into a comprehensive nonprofit focused on providing STEM education and mentorship to underserved communities in Hempstead, NY.
Over 10,000 low-income students have benefited from Morrison Mentors, with more than 175 mentors mobilized to deliver over 1,100 hours of STEM workshops annually across 30+ communities in Long Island.
