Our Story
Founded in the aftermath of World War II, Morningstar Children and Family Services Inc began as "Boy's Estate Georgia," an orphanage for homeless boys. Established by J. Ardell Nation in 1946, this initiative aimed to provide a safe haven for youth in need. Over the years, the organization evolved, expanding its mission to include young women and rebranding as "Youth Estate." Since 1996, Morningstar has upheld Mr. Nation's vision, offering comprehensive support to Georgia's vulnerable youth. With community counseling centers in Brunswick and Perry, the organization serves families across twelve counties, making a significant impact on the lives of adolescents in the region.
