Our Story
In 2005, a group of 45 high school graduates in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, united with a shared vision to serve the poor and care for vulnerable children. This grassroots movement led to the establishment of Moriah Deliverance of Ethiopian Children, founded on the belief that God provides for those in need. Over the past 15 years, Moriah has made a significant impact, baptizing hundreds in a Muslim community and providing essential school supplies to local children. Under the leadership of Wana and Genet, both founding members, Moriah continues to serve the Burayu community, offering holiday meals and educational support to families in need.
